Hi all
Hoping someone can help out with the following;
Has anyone ever removed the rear plastic trim that sits on the top of the rear wings?
This is the trim that has the fuel filler cap on one side.
PET shows 3 bolts at the boot end which are easily visible behind the boot carpet.
However there are also another 7 bolts where the trim is sandwiched in between the body and the rear edge of the roof. These don’t show on PET and are not visible from the boot or the inside of the car. I have removed the rear interior door cards and nothing is visible. I only know they exist by looking at examples of the trim for sale on eBay.
My fear is these can only be accessed by removing the entire hood assembly. I’m in the process of trying to remove the rear shelf which (covers the hood motors) but so far nothing is immediately apparent.
Hopefully someone has been down this path and knows the answer.
Thanks in advance.
Pete
