I am trying to fix this system, the previous owner has cut all the wires out. The adjustment switch is still in the cabin and the step motors are behind the headlamps still. I need a wiring diagram for this system but it does not seem to appear in the online manuals. Does anybody have one? Thank you. |

Waylander wrote: I keep looking for handy docs and how too's to add to it It's great. Especially the levelling motors article. I have spent all weekend undoing a major bodge in the headlamp washers, the lines had been cut and a nut screwed into the pipe with a jubilee clip. I suspect the pressure valves packed up and the system leaked. The levelling motors are a mess. They seem to have cut something out. I have a plug on passenger side (4 wires) cut. And in drivers side, plug cut (3 wires). I suspect the passenger plug merely taps to drivers plug (except I the have one unaccounted wire on passenger side) then drivers plug taps to loom. I found where I think the loom was cut out but it has only two wires (brown and green) was expecting 3 wires, the missing one one back to reostate in car. Hence a simple wire diagram with colours would be soooo great. I wonder whether if I do get this wired correctly, whether the lights will move, they look a bit rusty inside!! All great fun!! |

Have fixed levelling motors and have the switch in the car. Still can't find the damn looms the previous owner cut the levelling motors from!!!! So annoying, I have practically removed the whole loom along the front of the car. Another owner send me pics of where the motors connect but the wires just are not there!! The whole engine bay is shocking in regard to looms repair, clips and routing of looms. One of the previous owners was a real git! |
