My late 85 944 is in the workshop having a roll hoop fabricated. A question has arisen regarding the mounting of the rear vertical section, which they would normally want to mount onto a fabricated box in the outside rear corner of the back footwell. But the handbrake cable runs across this area. Has anyone here encountered this issue ? |

Here's my SD cage going in. Plates have already been welded in to the shell before the carpet was installed, holes cut in the carpet for the cage to mount to plates. No issue mounting to the box section or the arches (PS Terry Clark welded in the plates which IIRC we spoke of previously) ![]() Seat base from a 968 back in place which serves the 'rear seat retained' situation for sprints and hillclimb production class ![]() |
