Having being caught out by paying 10 times the cost for clips from the US. I need the 6 hose clips for the windscreen washer Pipe. 944 628 181 00 It's not easy for me to get to a Porsche dealer, only crappy Pelican parts come up in searches. Too small for breakers to care about on phone. Help!!! |

Order from a Porsche centre and they will mail them to you?? |

If you speak to Steve Mathiot or Greg at East London Porsche they will mail out all your small parts, discount for TIPEC or PCGB members If you are talking about the single ear crimp on clips you can't use them twice, buy a big box off eBay and the tool to fit them with, you have to consider the fact that Porsche don't make all these little bits they are bought in, and you can quite often find the same bit for another car at 1\4 the price I have never managed to work out why folks pay she'd loads for parts that are 25-30 years old for more money than brand new bits from Porsche I bought a new fuel sender plastic cover last week, £4.38 brand new, there are some crap ones on the bay of fleas for 18 to 25 quid |

Got these clips from Porsche Exeter recently - pennies if I recall, speak to James Stoneman, they also mail out parts and give a 10% discount (think this is pretty much across the board for our cars as they now come under the Porsche Classic umbrella). |

944 628 181 00 @ £1.88 each Current PET price they are the plastic clips to hold the pipe on the bonnet edge, PET lists 8 required the little single ear crimp on clips are £4.18 each, I just bought a box of 200 assorted sizes for £14.99 cant beat this place for clips of any sort https://www.hcl-clamping.co.uk/8-snap-fit-ear-clamps |

Wait, you can get these from Porsche directly? That's a relief... But is it just for cars that are still in production or do they have reserves/limited production lines for older models? |

If you have a question about parts, give an OPC parts dept a call and ask it? you may be surprised what is actually available. The question concerning discount, it is available from most OPC's if you ask the question, the answer should be "Yes sir we do to TIPEC members, if you just give me your membership number and we will apply it" If on the other hand they don't offer it, call another OPC for your bits and report on here or to your RO , so we can have a word with the OPC concerned. If you are not a TIPEC member, shame on you, you should be and imagine how much richer your life would be? |
