Does anyone know of a way or of a product that gives the same effect as the original on the sills I`ve tried stone chip spray paint from halfrauds but its no good. As said before I bought some 968 style sills but if I can I want to keep it as she is.

Yup I've had that with the Halfords one as well!

It seems to be very sensitive to; temperature, both of the paint & the surface & the coating it's going over & spray technique.
I did get a decent finish but only after a lot of bu99ering around. I'd also suggest it's too cold anyway for this sort of work.
I'd wait for warmer weather or if desperate get a paint shop to do it.

The specific product is made by Wurth, though I forget the name/number. Schutz might work, but it's the sort of thing that's very sensitive to not being quite right. Even if you're doing the whole side it could make the car look slightly "wrong" if it's not the correct texture.

I bought my stone effect from a Volvo Dealer (readily available)and using a compressor and gun recovered my sills to a great finish.
I previously had that awful spray from halfords and found it too thin to leave the effect that I wanted.

I used the halfords stuff when I did my car. Ive already found bare metal where the stone chip was "protecting" it. I was generous in the coating too.

Mirror what Fen said the original is a Wurth product call and see a local bodyshop or motor factor.
