I want to go in the opposite direction to most people. I want to replace the 8x15" Fuchs wheels on the rear of my 85.5 car with 7x15" Cookie Cutters. According to http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php that means going from et11 to et23. Does that mean I should get 12mm spacers, and if so where can I get them ? |

Not exactly, the ET is rim width specific. Depends if you are trying to get the outer face to end up in the same place, get the same centre line or whatever outcome you are trying to achieve. Use http://www.willtheyfit.com to input and adjust outcome based on your goal. Make sure you use hubcentric spacers with centre spigot. You may need bolt on spacers such as offers by H&R etc if not then longer studs. |

Can't add to what Steve's said, but this is also a good website for visualising things: http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp Less pretty but more data! |

Great info. What I like with willtheyfit.com is the overlaying of the rim + tyre to give an easy visual of the differences. But rimsntires give more measurements |
