Ther a sudenn influx of supposedly low milage 944's available on PH. Mostly from dealers......seems uncanny.... The older they get the milage goes down. Think I'll keep mine..... |

Keep yours defo........guess the sky high prices of the classic 911 have slowly impacted upon the 944/924s bunch.....over here the 944's, 924 and 's' are at least double the price than the UK...not that I would ever part with my S. Never got into it to make money, but just to enjoy the classic analogue drive! M |

I've noticed that certainly on a few the mileage almost certainly isn't what it seems or they claim. Early 944s only have 5 digits so 24,000 miles is more likely to be 124,000 or 224,000. On the post 1985 cars with oval dash the mileage is more likely to be correct as they have 6 digits. |

Many claim a low mileage based on the computerised MoT history, but a 1985 car could easily have been round the clock once or twice before the 1996 onwards records. A full verifiable history from day 1 is essential if you're going to pay over the odds for a low mileage car. |
