I will shortly be getting a new headlining fitted to my 924S.

The current headlining is black and I have a custom blue leather interior.

So, do I stick with black, go with matching blue leather or perhaps use the Classic Grey that was optional on later 944's and 968's. The latter may make the cabin feel lighter.

Do any of you have the classic grey headlining ?

My car has classic grey headlining, the cabin feel has been greatly improved by the Saratoga roof

It’s not a job I would want to do replace the headliner

As none of the headlining is available from Porsche if I replaced mine I would be tempted to use grey alcantara copy, as the real stuff is very expensive

A trimmer is doing it, it's not a job i'd do myself either.
The car has been undergoing bodywork restoration, I've just ordered a new dash for it too.

I was really trying to find a pics or two of the lighter headlining, to get an idea of what it looked like.
Is yours black Martin ?

No it’s classic grey
I will try and get you a picture of mine

Classic is a pretty odd grey, it has tones of pink and brown in it, if you have ever seen a well sun soaked classic grey cab interior, they turn dark brown
