Im pricing up plug leads and quite fancy some Magnicore KV85's but i notice that they are advertised as not having the lead holders. I take it that means the plug connectors??? So they wont have the angled plug connector fitted, is that right? And you have to use your old holders/connectors?

The reason i ask is that i have splitfire leads fitted by the last owner£££££££££££££££3  And one of them is fooked where it connects to the beru plug connector and part of the lead is stuck inside the connector. :(

Can these holders/connections be bought separately from an OPC or anywhere else.

Do the leads from GSF have the conectors or do you still need to use the old ones?

As yopu can tell im confused to hell!! LOL

No advantage to these over standard leads despite what the Max Power brigade believe. Just run standard leads, around 60ish quid from Bert or GSF. These are normally Beru anyway. Pretty sure the rubber caps aren't easily interchangeable.

They are around £73 from GSF and more from bert. I can get the KV's for about the same price as the GSF ones and as my car is chipped to the hilt i cant see any harm in fitting the KV's over the standard ones, especially as they are a similar price!!

I agree with Jim; stick with standard. You can't improve on a quality core with good insulation so you get the maximum spark energy only where you want it, so I'd stick with a known quality rather than take a punt on something that is probably snake oil.
