Hi
First post so please be gentle.
I'm looking at giving up my company car at next renewal and getting a classic. A 944 is top of the list at the moment. I have a MK1 Mx5 and a T25 camper van already so I know what i'm getting into as far as giving up mod cons.
My main concern though is my 6 year old. She could sit in the front for short journey school pick ups etc. but is there a good fit/sanctioned booster seat for the rear? I know there are some other threads but nothing current that I could find.

Also, as I being realistic with a 944 as a daily? 80 mile round trip commute 3 days a week.

Thanks alot

I use my S2 daily and the commute is the best part of the day, despite the traffic. As for booster seats you should be ok with a later model as it will have the rear seat belt mounting points, early ones don't. The main problems I've had were with bad electrical contacts, main one the earth strap.

The law regarding children in cars has changed dramatically over the last few years, I believe that it is now law to have a child under 12 and under a certain height in a booster seat of some sort, the rear seats in a 924/944/968 are classed as emergency seats whatever that means.

You would really need to read all the current regulations and I would try and get a professional opinion from a police officer, preferably a motor way one or traffic officer.

Thanks for the advice folks. Going to do a bit more digging on the car seat front. I think that's the only sticking point.
Cheers
