Just nearing the end of replacing my 944 2.7 fuel lines (using genuine 968 hardlines) but am really struggling to find these fittings in the UK. Although I have found one supplier here they seem very expensive (£75 for the pair) plus lead time is several months. I know they are available in the US but shipping and taxes bring them in even more expensive. Just seems a hell of a lot of cash for what they are

I want to use these at the rear of the car to connect the new hardlines to the filter and tank using flexible lines

Any advice is much appreciated!

Thanks for the replies.

Can't use original lines at the rear end as have cut the new hardlines close to the beam so will need to make up flexi's (just couldn't add dropping the beam to the to do list - want this thing back on the road this year). Although tank to pump and pump to filter are new genuine new hoses.

Will do a write up when done as this turned out to be a much bigger job than expected with a lot of hours invested - not so much in terms of labour but researching, etc. A few lessons have been learned along the way which might possibly help others looking to do this save time and money.

Tried BGC. Really quick response, but didn't could supply unfortunately

I know these things are out there. Somewhere!

You only needed to lower the beam on the drivers side by 3 inches to get the lines through, I have done the whole job in one day twice

:banghead:

Doh! I just kept reading of horror stories doing this so gave it a swerve. The problem was / is that as you work your way through the to do list you always uncover more and more "to do's" along the way. A lot has already been ticked off but I want to make sure I get some use out of the car this year too.

After a hell of a lot of digging around, found the adaptors here in the UK from Burnett & Hillmann. Ordered yesterday, on the doorstep this afternoon. Under £15 for the pair including delivery. Bargain!
