Post subject:  Front wheel alignment spec.

I’ve been driving my car for a year now, overall I’m more than happy with it. Handling wise I’d say it’s great, very smooth and comfortable on long drives and very capable on more spirited drives. However I’ve always felt it was a bit too twitchy, more so at speed when turning into a bend it seems to turn too quickly or on a straight it seems to need constant correction on the wheel, I’ve checked everything over, all right, shocks firm enough although probably aged a bit so maybe not as firm as they should be but very comfortable on rougher roads. So I checked the front wheel alignment today with a set of old Dunlop gauges I have, they show just over 1/2 degree toe in. I’ve searched on line but can’t find a factory spec for it, only settings people use on track cars. I’m thinking of adjusting the tracking to parallel to see if this’ll improve it, any thoughts welcome. It’s totally standard on cookie cutters 195/65/15
