I've been on here 10 years and I've yet to hear of someone bolting a S/C on a 2.5 and it being better than a 944 turbo. |

Nice article. Forgotten all about Heritage in Shoreham. Must pop down sometime. Steve is a nice bloke and put me on to Nick, who serviced my car last year. I also have a Stag and someone managed to bolt a supercharger to their engine and get 300 bhp out of it. It’s still running which is more than I can say for mine at the moment. I would imagine space and heat would be serious hurdles. Look forward to seeing how you get on, but if you’re like me there is never enough time. A project that would be just as interesting is a 944 fitted with an electric motor. Given the cost of engine rebuilds I would have thought this now plausible. Andy S |

I thought that as long as an engine was tip top you get around a 40% power gain with a Super Charger.  A few of us spent a morning with the guys at RUF in September, they smiled about fitting an SC. Turbo all day long for those guys because of the heat. |

Their he used a much more straightforward approach. He fitted a TVR engine. |

Always nice to get some recognition for these cars. Good luck with your project. PS I have a 924 GTv8 (tribute to the 924 Carrera GTs) your welcome to have a go at painting that, although I am based in Scotland. |
