Post subject:  early 944 2.5 n.a. cutting out when hot

my 944 cuts out after running about 20 mins and will not restart for 1 hour unless I pull the fuel pump fuse then it will idle but not revv. I am really stuck and almost ready to give up so any help will be very appreciated

unfortunately it was lack of fuel on there care mine seems to be pumping to much in the cylinders when hot

I'd go with that as well. Mind you check the right sensor, there are 2 coolant temp sensors one for the gauge and one for the DME, obviously its the latter you need to check. Could be as simple as corroded wiring connectors.
