Hey all, I am finally taking the plunge and will be picking up a 1987 944 Lux tomorrow. As I am travelling from the Republic of Ireland I am really hoping the car I have stuck a deposit on works out. Outside of reading the great buyers guide posted here is there anything else to know? Thanks, Mark |

How are you getting on ? Sort that relay issue? Fellow irish man with a 944 but living in sussex |

Yes I did thanks! Ordered the relays along with a new indicator, a vent grill and 2 corner mouldings which are missing from the front windows on both sides... which is weird considering I have receipts for all the seals having been replaced a few years ago  Heading off on hols on Friday and the body damage will be getting repaired before its off to see if it needs a clutch replacement and maybe anything else engine wise.... Watch this space, for more money being spent

Welcome Mark. What part of Ireland? I frequently go West via Galway to Clifden. Beautiful place, crap roads! No good for my 968... Cheers, Tim. |
