I have a late 85 (oval dash) car and can only find wiring diagrams in https://web.archive.org/web/20070314120555/http://cannell.co.uk/944_workshop_Manual/Vol4-electrical.pdf or the illegible ones in the Haynes manual. Is there any better source ? And what is the difference between an 85.2 car and an 86 one ? New diagrams seem to start on pages 101 and 127 (of the Cannell pdf file) for 85/2 and then again on page 153 for 86 cars. An additional question - I want to install a tripmeter, taking its feed from the transmission-speedo wire. Is there anywhere convenient to T in to that wire, without having to get to the back of the instrument or run an additional cable from the transmission (such as the Central Electrical System box perhaps) ? |

I have the Haynes manual and they aren't the traditional diagram but they are easy enough to read. Ive solved a few problems with it. Its jsut showing you a power supply in the middle and ground at the top and bottom of the page. Seem to think its called a current flow diagram |
