Hi all I had to remove my headlight motor to remove the windscreen wash tank. I have put it back on and connected the linkage but they are all out of sync. They don’t open fully and then open further, then close on switching off! Is there a set up guide any where to enable me to sort this? Or any advice from you guys would be appreciated. Thank you Regards Mark |

Assuming you haven’t done this yet I can tell you how I did it Link at the bottom of this reply shows a picture of the mechanism installed note the angle of the arms Loosen the nut on the motor Power up motor place in the closed position Disconnect power Install the arm such the angle is similar to the picture ... the loose link should be parallel with the arm link and get the slots in the bracket as central as possible Do up the motor nut Connect the light pod and adjust the spigots either side to get the panel gaps correct with the bonnet if the light pod is not fully down don’t panic and use these the to get it as close as possible first The headlight arm can then be moved forward and backwards on the bracket slot to final adjust It worked for me _ I couldn’t find a guide when I did mine viewtopic.php?f=25&t=11696&start=390 |
