Hi all I had a good search around the forum and could not find any suggestions as to where to get the best value 924 (S) spares in the UK. Has anyone got any suggestions to make? I only just bought my first Porsche, so am looking to get contacts for spares. Thanks. |

Porsche themselves is a good place to start Most of the time for general small parts they are cheaper for new than 30 year old second hand bits on eBay Always check with your opc first, plus if we keep buying parts they will keep making them |

if you can't get new bits or they are a bit beyond your budget, then try Woolies Workshop. He dismantles 924 and 944s for spares. |

Whereabouts in the UK are you? As Jason said, Woolies is good, based between Coventry and Birmingham but will post. I've found another guy recently in east Birmingham who has quite a selection of parts and very reasonably priced... Think he trades as germanicautoparts on eBay. |

Time and time again, I see people paying daft money on ebay for used parts when they can new ones from Porsche much more cheaply. ALWAYS talk to Porsche first and get a baseline price. |

Yep, lot's of dodgey prices on ebay for used Porsche parts, like everyone else said try Porsche first. Just ordered a new alternator cowl from Porsche £19.95 - ebay £25 used! Most of the time Porsche is competitive price wise, especially if the components are used on other manufactures cars (such as bosch components or shared with VW) Woolies Frazerpart WPO VWHeritage 9Apart I also buy some parts from the states if I don't need them in a hurry, a few times I've got the exact same genuine part for 50% less than UK / Europe prices and that's including shipping and import duty. So often worth widening your search. |

Thank you everyone who has made recommendations, very useful so far. Woolies I liked so far as he takes the time to email and explain. Loving the car, am struggling to get out when I reach my destination though and not because I can't physically get out ![]() |
