Hi My struts look like the titanic!!! I've looked for replacement assemblies at reasonable prices but find it hard to get something that isn't an overkill for road use and just keep seeing inserts. Inserts, inserts, everywhere but no an assembly anywhere. Apparently the left OEM item is no longer available too. Does anyone do a bog standard strut assembly either complete or just the base so I can fit my own inserts? Will any of the 944 later range including turbos fit? Thanks in advance Si. |

Get the struts blasted and powder coated, then buy new inserts of your choice. Your struts will have the removable caps so no surgery required for new inserts. You'll be surprised how well the struts clean up. The only other option is coil-overs. But by default these will lower the car. |

Nice work by the powder coaters & blasters. You can hardly see any of the damage that the tin worm has tried to inflict. |

Hi I've managed to get a second had pair in much better condition than mine, however, someone has drilled the bottom holes out to a larger diameter. I wonder why they've done that. Now I've got to repair that, any ideas? Si.
