Post subject: | Clutch Hydraulic Part Numbers |
Hi all Could anyone help me with the part numbers for clutch hydraulics on my 944 s2. First item is the blue braided hose from clutch reservoir to master cylinder. The second pat required is the gasket between the master cylinder and body. Any help with this would be great. Regards Mark |

I will sort them out for you later, you can find the numbers in the download PDF But it won’t tell you if they are NLA think the gasket might be, and if you want cheaper I think you can get the blue hose from Just campers |

if you use the Petrol pipe type clips it will be fine there is no pressure involved the hose is 999 181 021 50 220mm @ £24.67, Its 7.5 ID x 12.5 OD The gasket is 928 423 191 00 @ £5.64 I would buy some sheets of gasket paper (.25, .5 or 1mm) out your local car parts store for about £2 and then you can make any of these little gaskets for next to nothing If the two of you want to club up and buy this https://www.coolairvw.co.uk/Item/Shop_b ... e-CB-.html half each would get you a new hose for £7.00 This place sells interior lights for £7.50 Inc VAT, that's £5 cheaper than Porsche |

worth it as the hose can get a bit porous and draw air in, Bleeding the clutch is always a massive pain, I did mine reverse, with a pumping oil can from underneath. what a pain in the ass |

Changed my master and slave recently and fitted a remote bleeder. Makes the job a lot easier. I made my own gasker and used the pucka oertiker clamps (assorted set on ebay) The bleeder hose was made up specially by a local firm with a 7mm banjo on one end and a female on the other to take a std brake bleed nipple a small ali bracket mounted next to the clutch reservoir. Photo is the one I did for the 993 which is equaly a pain to get at.
