Hi all! Looking for some advice on tyre size on a set of 17" O.Z wheels. Currently i am running 18" wheels 8" wide fronts and 9" rear, and have recently acquired a set of 17" O.Z wheels which i believe are 8" on the frpont and 10" on the rear. My question is what size tyre to go for on these new 17's? I dont want them to look lost in the arches compared to the 18's on currently so will be looking to go for a chunkier tyre. Any advice / photos would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Joe |

What is currently on your 18s? The correct size for the 17s is as follows: Fronts: 225/45R17 Rears: 255/40R17 The fronts will be OK but you may have a little more stretch on the rears due to the 10J rear section. Those are the 968 sizes too. You can fit 205/50R17s up front if the offset is a litte tight but it can cause a little more understeer, albeit not as bad as you'd think. As per the above. 225/45/17 255/40/17 Toyo Proxie Sports and should be £300 delivered online. |
