I will not be using my 944S for 3 months starting January. Is it worth taking any special precautions? The car is kept in a dry garage, its integral to the house, the battery is on a time switched low charge anyway, as the after market immobiliser will flatten the battery in a couple of weeks. Should I squirt oil down the plug holes, over inflate the tyres or even jack it clear of the ground?
Yes, you can easily get flat spots on the Tyres if left unused & unturned for 3 months. They will return once used again but can and do go out of balance
so as you suggest either whack them all up to 40 psi or lift up the car on axle stands.
No need for oil down the plug holes, but if you have ventilation in the garage? Running it up after 1.5 months for 20 minutes won't do it any harm.
