Discovered this on my s2, next to the battery....some sort of black box, unplugged. Any ideas please?

It looks alarm related, the plugs are probably for ultrasonic sensors probably locates at the top of the windscreen next to the A pillars? |

Ultra sonic sensors, I have found these to be in the top of the C Pillars on few cars |
