Im thinking of switching over to a standalone ECU on my 83 944. To get the best performance the use of a wideband O2 sensor is recomended. Now i dont think my car has one but the porsche manuals show two versions of the downpipe which looks like an o2 sensor came standard on models with a Cat. Can someone confirm my logic? Im guessing i could modify a stadard downpipe to fit a boss or just get hold of a down pipe for a cat car? |

Any decent custom exhaust shop can weld in the boss for an o2 sensor into your existing exhaust. |
