I am going to need a new FP. New ones seem to come in around £100 but as I am planning to up the umph to about 300 bhp is there any advantage to an uprated pump and if so what from where?

Bosch do two uprated motorsport pumps that fit the 944T - they are called the 'HV' and the '044'

Here's a link to the Lindsey page with them though you should be able to get them from any Bosch dealer

Thanks Paul.
There is something called a Sytec FP on ebay. Is this the usual ebay waste of space or actually something worth considering?

I've not heard of Sytec but if it fits and has the same flow capacity then it should work.

However if you are running a boosted car and the fuel pump starts playing up you can very quickly start running dangerously lean. I personally would stick with a Bosch model for reliability
