ABS not working, no warning light. According to an excellent post ref 968 pump repair it's stuck pistons.ref :-http://www.porsche968uk.co.uk/technical_tips/968-abs-refurb.php I stripped a spare down perloined from a mate and found exactly that, so I presume mine is the same. Found a Merc one on ebay which uses the same pistons so will try those. The daunting bit is removing the brake lines from the old pump as from previous experience they will be fused solid and that will mean replacing the complete brake lines to the ABS pump. Has anyone done this and any lubrication ideas to prevent it happening again? Just noticed it's a Waylander post ![]() |

After a struggle got the pump out and stripped it. What a mess, the little pistons were totally seized up. The spare in much better condition and one piston was free one only slightly stuck. All brake lines intact, worst part was the earth contact on the motor which sheared off. |

Fun is it not The end of the motor and the eccentric bearing plus the pistons were just a ball of rust in mine The 10mm Allen grub screws can be a challenge too |
