Can anybody tell me the size of the threaded fittings were the hoses mate with the hard lines by the fuel filter? My hard lines are fine but the fittings on both the pipes and the hoses have suffered badly with corrosion, I'm looking to replace them in situ whilst I'm doing everything else under the car. |

I don't have the sizes yet for mine but when I disconnect them this week I can measure for you. Most of the rubber lines I've bought from Porsche so I've not needed to get them measured up |

Sorry it's taken so long to reply, completely forgot until today. I've had to have new lines made up as they are currently unavailable from Porsche and the one thing now stopping my car getting back on the road. The fitting on the 10mm feed line is an M16 x 1.5 and on the 8mm return line it's M14 x 1.5. I've just bought them from a local motor factors but I'd imagine any should be able to supply. If you struggle the company I used were called Aghabridge based in Strood Kent |

Thanks for the help guys. I bought the short pipes from the pump and filter and where needed cut the ends of the hard lines and joined with fuel hose clips, not the prettiest affair but it does the job. I also replaced the hose to the top of the tank by dropping it very slightly and then push a long length of three core electrical cable down the hose stripped the ends and taped them to the hose to pull it through, the new pipe was installed them same way in reverse. |
