On the 944 does the 2 bolts that secure the inner drop link thread into the chassis or into a nut on the inside of the chassis. one of my 2 bolts just keeps spinning and will not come out, Like Gryphon will it need rethreading with helicoil or is there a secured nut on the inside? |

Bad luck! This is what I thought had happened when mine first span... With my limited knowledge, I think it might have to be a case of cut open the rail, tack in a new captive nut and weld it back, which (depending on your skillset) doesn't sound fun... I hope somebody comes along with a less invasive solution ![]() |

Thanks for reply, think the carpets will be coming out soon as new sills are going to be welded in place after surgically removing from floor pan ![]() ![]() |

Cheers, I will get some pictures and start a bit of a diary off but may be some time as I am about to start a house renovation. ![]() |
