Snap-On probe ??
As well as testing voltages and earth , it can PUSH 12 volts out of the tip....

Hi Guys, I'm trying to find a 12 V device that will allow me to to test electrical items by allowing a current to activate a backlight of a 944 digital clock, instead of refitting to test etc. Your pupil awaits his lesson notes. |

I would just use the car battery and a couple of wires, I don't think the voltage to the clock is reduced. |
