Hi, anybody know a decent jet wash near Epsom ? I sometimes go to the esso / tesco on the Epsom bypass but it's normally broke, I don't know another one for miles, I'm not from this area. Essex used to have loads... Thanks in advance

Can't help with your issue but my nearest jetwash is 8 miles away so I bought myself a petrol pressure washer. I can place in in the middle of the drive and blast over all three cars without moving it. Also good for cleaning the drive of leaves, mulch and various spillages of engine fluids

If you have a house a Jet wash is spot on. However, you may not have that luxury.

Surely a Shell or a BP has one near you? I'd search your area via Google and maybe see that way.

If you do go this way, don't wash your car with their brushes, unless you enjoy picking up swirl marks.

Yer, I've searched for ages, and I never use the brushes, there used to be proper jet wash bays all over the place in Essex, nothing like that near me, obviously there is but it's just finding one

I live local - there is one at the Burgh Heath Shell Station - which is approx 4 miles from the Esso on the bypass Drive straght up the road opposite and you will come to it - on the corner at the third set of traffic lights just past Asda

I am getting a 25 litre water container for the job believe it or not, a cheapo off Amazon! It will probably look a little strange with me washing a car with a bucket and a mitt mind you!

There used to be an AutoGlym washing guy near me who seemed pretty decent, if not expensive (around £10 for washing and drying a car?). I may see if he is still around.

After using one of the many 'hand car washes' on the 951 and then spending the rest of the day polishing it (it looked like their chemicals had almost burned themselves into the paintwork! I decided against using them after that. "Our chemicals are like a soft shampoo". Yeah, right!

I use the local hand wash places but tell them to only use the foam and pressure washers. I don't think there's anything nasty in the foam...

I think (not 100% sure) that if you sprinkle biological washing powder on that and wet it, the grime will all disappear when it dries up and leave your driveway clean. It definitely works for removing oil stains from the driveway,
