I took a trip to the bodyshop this morning to get a price to repair some bubbling on the sills and to repair the rear a d front wing bottoms.I got chatting to the guy, he used to own a 944 turbo, wished he hadn't sold it etc... Anyway, there a few dings in the rear panel ( trolley dings from the supermarket ) and small stone chips on the bumper, the bonnet and mirrors. I've decided to get everything done, including a totall re-spray, as just painting the sides would show up the original 28 year old paint.
Next on the list is a new roof, and I've chosen a maroon mohair instead of the standard black.

It will (hopefully ) look like a new car for spring...... I do hope I've been good for Santa this year....... :D

Black with linen leather.

A member posted a pic of a 968 on pcgb with the black/maroon combo. To these eyes it looks incredibly nice.

Hi A.N.
It sounds like you may have gone through a similar process to me. Mainly I just needed a wing repairing but, suspecting some other bits of bodywork, decided on getting three corners, all bits of rust, any dents and a full respray. Seemed to me it would be more money up front but cheaper in the long run than doing it all bit by bit over several years. And why not have the car you want now rather than wait.

I hope yours is sorted more quickly than mine though. Good luck with it, and with Santa :P
