Post subject:  Brake upgrades and suspension

Hi there I have a 1985 Porsche 944 and was wondering what a common brake upgrade is for these cars ideally I want something relatively easy to upgrade to but also will want braided hoses so would need to know if I would need a custom kit any help would be appreciated. I am also after ideas as to what suspension to upgrade to I'm not looking for an extremely low setup nut something that drops the ride height a bit and improves the handling sorry for the essay many thanks Danny

944 brakes are normally pretty good, they were good enough for the 911 Turbo. When I ran a 944 & serviced others I found that the slides were normally seized up. A good clean and a little copa slip freed them up well.
Otherwise there is a Boxster caliper conversion but it is a lot of money. Unless you're doing track days then I suspect they'd be overkill for a road car
