They were all built to run on unleaded
even the older 2.0 924.

Dear all, I have agreed in principle to buy a 1987 944 lux! I have just realised I need to check it's been converted to unleaded fuel. The owner hasn't even thought to check and has been using unleaded all the while and can't tell me whether it's been converted, he's elderly so I can't ask him to go through the books and my pre-purchase inspection couldn't tell me. Does anyone know whether these cars were in fact produced to run on leaded or unleaded? It may be I've invented a problem!! Cheers, Dan |

They were all built to run on unleaded even the older 2.0 924.

They don't need the lead, but many do need the octane... |
