No idea if its the same but I have a spare 928 auto starter that my brother wants to sell..used but working peferctly (changed because it wasnt starting...new starter no difference as it needed a battery

Hi all, was the starter motor fitted to any other vehicle, if so which one ? Or does anyone have a U/S one but the aluminium cast part ok ? Mine works but has lost the brass sleve in the end some how and trying to make 1 good out of 2 ! Thanks in advance Neal |

Hi you can buy all the parts to rebuild a starter from JCR Supplies 380 Forest Road, Walthamstow London, E17 5JF Telephone: 020 8521 6494 quote the Bosch number and they can supply the rear bronze bearing, the solenoid, the Bendix Gear, brushes. (Possibly a complete Brush Box) I have rebuild 6 968 starters and all the parts come to about £45 |
