Sprayed the outer sills yesterday with stone guard pprotection followed by top coat and laquer Imam very pleased with the finish and hopefully this will increase the life of my sills.

Well I carried out a job well done yesterday with the use of a ramp at work. I wax sealed my inner sills with anti rust spray followed by a corrosion protector wax by spraying my nossle into each drain hole at the bottom of my sills and also through the door shut holes(after removing the vents) I did inspect the inner sills through the door shut vent holes recently and using an idea from Porsche magasine I took photos with my mobile phone through the hole to determine the condition of the inner sills. They were in reasonable condition so I decided to do the re-waxing. I think it is well worth while to hopefully increase the life span of the sills and avoid a hefty bill. Next weekend I will make sure that the drain holes are clear of blockage from the wax once it has dried. |

Got some Bilt Hamber wax at home to do mine but the weather has now broken so unlikely to be before the spring. |
