Fuel pump wiring

Hi all
Long shot this one the short lead from the fuel pump joins to a two pin conector then the wires
Run up above the tank..
Anyone no if this is straight into the loom or is there another connection.
89 944 turbo

Think you might find it connects into the level sender then the loom

I say this as my car won't start with the sender unplugged???

I thought it may do need to fit new conector/ rewire but could not find any info on pet parts
