Hi all,

I've looked around sporadically over the last few years for a rear boot carpet for a late 944. I have beige interior, well linen to be precise, and I'm after the boot carpet and two side pieces.
If i go aftermarket or a trimmer, everyone I've spoken to can't guarantee a colour match, and since the rest of my interior is perfect, I don't want to buy a whole set and go through the effort of replacing the whole thing.
Granted mine will have faded slightly in the sun over the years, but is there anywhere that does a proper carpet set for a 944, in Porsche original interior colours. Mine is 8/10 I'd say so I'd rather keep mine unless I can find a nice new one in a good colour match.

Cheers

This seems to be the one one in proper porsche colours. I'll phone them tomorrow, they're away for independence day today!

If you're searching for specific things and colours, that aren't black, you really need to look every day.

you could also try woolies workshop, he breaks 924/44s

Thanks I've just bookmarked that, great website.

I've just realised the link I tried to paste last night didn't work. http://www.classic9leathershop.com/carpet-for-porsche/
The proper stuff there, supposedly in original porsche colour is $73 a yard, add cost of production and import fees it is going to be a very expensive boot carpet.
Trimmers can get a very close colour match and make a bespoke piece but I'm trying to get a perfect reproduction part if possible.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PORSCHE-944-B ... SwfZhXNFmh

If your car has the earlier full size spare wheel?

or

if its the later models little spare.

Thanks guys, well found. I think my carpet is in better condition than those, I was really after getting a nice new one made up, even if its £2-300 as its the only bit of my interior which isn't perfect having redone the headline and seats myself.
Someone suggested I contact southbound trimmers as they have the proper coloured carpet.

(Also, yes I have the fullsized spare)
