Hi Folks -

As a new topic - what exhaust system have you fitted? Kept original or upgraded? Not talking about racing track mods but just road use. My 944S2 is basically standard but stainless throughout, just the centre boxes replaced with a larger single bore section - no cats applicable. Rear box replaced with stainless, single tip end...

I see stainless headers are available from the USA - expensive - but I don't see the point, as the originals look like they do an efficient job...

The centre box on mine is stainless steel but the rest is standard.

A friend's husband builds custom bikes and his fabrication skills are amazing, I will be speaking to him about the cost of some stainless headers soon.

Sounds similar to mine, Promax center box and Dansk rear. There was a very interesting thread a while ago by JMG about a central resonator not sure if it was developed.

Completely standard except custom stainless tip to replace non stainless tip that Porsche saw fit to use as standard which fell off! All the exhaust is stainless now. Works well for me with a tad over 300 horses.
