Whilst tearing the interior to shreds re the headlining story, I really needed to sort the sunroof
mech out as I had managed to strip 5 of the plastic gear teeth last summer.
Stripped out the boot and had a looksee at Clarks guides then got out the hammer....
I discovered that the top micro switch had lost one of the tiny nuts that holds it when the
cam comes around and was about as far away as its possible to be. Nicked a nyloc one
from an rc helicopter

They are tiny at just a few mm.
Fitted the alloy cam which was fine and then spent a good 2 hrs plus trying to get things
working correctly. Managed to get the microswitch stopping the arms, but the lower one
wasn't having any of it, so pulled it all apart again.
Worked out that I needed more of the cable through and passed the lifting mechs, then the
cable was able to push the cam further round and hit the lower switches. RESULT!
Now the arms stop at both top and bottom with a nice click from the boot and teeth intact.
