From a recent outing at Cadwell Park.....don't push brand new and cold semi-slicks too hard!

Good effort - and a bold post!

Some of the 917s in the rain on YouTube are worth a look...!

A very bold post.

You must have some large balls! I never pushed my car quite that hard through that corner!

A the semi slicks road legal? I quite fancy some Toyo R888s for everyday use, but your video made me think twice.
There's one thing about loosing it on a track with loads of space, and another on the road.

You clearly have more skill behind the wheel than I!

The tyres were R888s. Trouble was I had a well scrubbed in (over-sized...255s) at the back and brand new set at the front. It was my first lap and I had Wazzer M as a passenger.... I was trying to scare the s*#t out of him and had much too high corner entry speed. Understeer inevitably occurred and trying to correct this with increased steering angle caused the back end to release....oh what fun! :)

On my 205 they were fine, bar overheating on the Track. Likewise the Nankang NS-2Rs on the Escort are fine when cold. Today they brought the car to a very swift halt when someone decided they wouldn't bother looking!

When you say passenger Wayne? You mean ballast right?

Yes. I'll always agree with an RO - especially one in a red '44 cab.!

Oooops, that's an impressive amount of understeer!! Well saved though, it can get a bit scary around Cadwell...

We met at Oulton last summer Tony, I was the fella parked up next to you in the silver Turbo
