The sunroof in my car has been mastic'd shut - yeah cheers!
I have bought new seals from CocaCola on this forum and want to get the sunroof working again - for the summer.
I have had oval dash cars previously and the sunroof mech on this car looks very different. There is a button near the gearstick for sun roof operation, but I can see that where the arms are supposed to be are blanking plates - is this correct?

Is this what is called a manual roof? or has this been screwed closed? I cant work out what the button does if the arms are not there?

That button is the same as I had in my 924S, it had an electrically operated roof the same as my previous 944 cars & my current 968.

Those catches are home made jobs..... Probably best to try & source a full sunroof mechanism, is the motor etc still present behind the N/S/R quarter carpet?

Looks like they've removed the arms and screwed it shut

you might be needing some parts

Looks like Bodgit & Sons are thriving. Probably a good idea to look at another car with it all working - very happy for you to look at mine, but I'm probably the wrong side of Somerset for you ?

Finally found some time to investigate.

Is this the sunroof motor and does it look complete?

If so, application of 12v directly next!
