I have numerouds issues with my newly aquired 944. One is the radio doesnt seem to work. I cant get it out the standard way, so am toying with pushing it out from the back. What is the easiest way to access this area? There seems to be carpet screwed into the centre console? Thanks |

Hi, The radio should slide out as normal towards you but if it's anything like my 924 when I got it had a really old head unit in it which was a pain to get out! You could remove the centre console but without the head unit removed getting to the 2 screws that hold the heating sliders in place is going to be difficult. Can you post a picture of the head unit here?? Thanks |

I don't think that should be to hard to get out. I expect you should find it needs a prong type tool to slide in each side which releases the tabs on the side of the head unit then slide it out from the cage. What make is the stereo?? |
