I noticed it when putting the Konis on, have ordered a replacements to do the lot. The offside one appears good, that one is a shocker!

Yip. Mine looked like that.

Not sure if this is a well known tip, but I found talcum powder to be great at helping to slide the new ones into position.

washing up liquid works well too

just don't use any petroleum based lubricant on them, silicone dash shine is a good one to use as it has the same softeners in as the rubber itself
