Please desist from referring to 944s as 'NA'.

The majority of 944s are normally aspirated and do not require any further nomenclature in order to differentiate between them and the far less common 944 Turbo (which cunningly adds the word turbo to the name, avoiding all doubt).

Its a dumb American thing and if people continue we will all become as stupid as them.

The height of stupidity, which thankfully is mostly only reached by dumb gobshite Merkins, is to refer to series one cars a 'NA'. As opposed to what, eh?

Stop it!

Next you'll be chastising people for calling their Turbos 951s!

I do see your point but it does make an easy way of differentiating between a Turbo and non turbo. Let's be honest, it beats text speak!

I myself don't have the time to type everything down in minute detail these days with other commitments off the forum.

People who try to tell me that they have a '952' with a smug 'knowing' wink are very silly men. Ironically, people with RHD 944s don't try to appear more cleverer than they really are by craicing-on that they have a 945...
