My 944 project arrived this week, and I've been looking over what needs doing, other than and engine swap as its way down on compression.

One of the things I do need is a spare wheel, the previous owner removed it and had some ICE kit in the spare well. Looks like the original spare was a pressed steel, but people are asking silly money for them, when all it will do for the most of its life is hold the boot carpet in shape.

Does anyone know if there are wheels from anything else in the VAG range which would fit, and not command the Porsche price premium?

Only from Porsche-derived vehicles.

Mercedes Sprinters and Vauxhall (Renault Nissan) Movanos all have 5x130PCD wheels although they all have too large a centre bore.

Pete, I have an original space saver wheel complete with tyre if it is of any use?
