Hi Everyone, the connecting wire in my 944S2 windscreen aerial has broken within the glass lamination where it should connect to the aerial wire at the base of the windscreen. Has anyone ever tried to repair something similar and can give me some tips? I don't want to replace a perfectly good windscreen or drill a hole for a telescopic antenna so any other ideas on getting the radio to function would be gratefully received! Cheers, Dave

Thanks Waylander, good suggestion and fall back but I'd really like to have a go at fixing the original system first if possible. Cheers, Dave
