Hi Guys,

I have finally tracked down the source of another rattle - its the shield just underneath the exhaust manifold. From above, I can only see 1 bolt, and if I lean on the shield near the bold with a screwdriver the rattle stops. I got a 10mm socket on the bolt and it turns, but doesn't tighten up - I'm guessing there a nut on the back that I need to get to from underneath.

So, has anyone had an issue with this before or who can give me some clues on how to get at this shield?

I'm certain it will need tackling from underneath so Im off to buy a set of ramps - will I get an S2 (standard suspension) on some standard type ramps or will I need to get the ramp extensions that are sold?

Can't really help with the rattle but I imagine there will be a nut underneath which has either come off or is just spinning with the bolt.

As for the ramps, yes you will need the extensions unless the ramp has a really shallow profile. I certainly need them to get my S up and its on standard height suspension
