Hi,

I'm trying to trace a rattle that seems to be coming from the NS rear wheel area. I've stripped and refitted the shock amongst checking all bolts. I've now removed the wheel and disc to check the hand brake shoes - which seem OK. Springs 'n all

However, the actuating lever at the bottom of the shoes and the cable itself seem to be rather loose with a fair amount of play and when I shake them appear to make the noise I'm hearing from inside the cabin.

Are these two items supposed to be fitted much tighter without any play?

Hints & tips appreciated.

Thanks
Steve
