I guess jmg will know this because they do steering parts but I need to find the problem first.. the steering kind of misses or "clunks" at extreme of lock, like round a roundabout. It "feels" like its near the steering wheel rather than nearer the wheels. It almost feels like a "gap" . nothing happens on a drive though or in normal driving just when I turn at a t juncion or parking.
I'm wondering shaft (like JMG sell refurb)
Or the needle bearing by the steering wheel?
Any tips to help me track down the likely culprit?
Thanks
Alex

I wonder if it's one of the steering arm bushes that might be worn, or even the ball joint that might be lifting at full lock then dropping again as you come off lock...
