With the BMW servicing I am in a similar boat regarding people who will actually do the servicing correctly. For the Inspection 1 and 2s I have been quoted the following:
Local specialist 1 : £350
AutoTech Warwick: £520/£750
Specialist No. 2: £350 (as a "Full Service"/Inspection II)
Rybrook BMW : £750/£1500 - Yup! The latter was £850 a few months ago. I guess they really do not want the work.
The first and second specialist said that he would not do the valve clearances which are meant to be checked at every Inspection. They said it's a big job which can add £400-500 onto the bill and that they could tell they could need doing if they heard the engine...
